Youngest child of Hosea Williams dies after car wreck

<p>The youngest son of the late civil rights leader the Rev. Hosea Williams has died from injuries sustained in a car crash.</p><p>Hyron Lorenzo Williams, 18, died Saturday after nearly a month in intensive care following the Jan. 16 car accident.</p><p>Williams was active in many of his fathers civil rights and political activities _ Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, Get Out the Vote drives, production assistant on The Voice of the Crusader TV show and a part-owner of Hoseas Bonding Company.</p><p>We dearly loved Hyron and certainly would liked to have had him around a little longer than we did, said the family in a prepared statement. We love and will miss you, Hyron.</p><p>His father, Hosea Williams, one of Kings first lieutenants in the civil rights battle, died in 2000 after a battle with cancer.</p><p>He is survived by four sisters, two brothers and his mother, Glenda Elaine Brown.</p><p>Hyron Williams funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Word of Truth Christian Center in Decatur.</p>
