Lakeview boys finish second in Region 8-A North

GAINESVILLE - The Lakeview boys basketball team rallied in the second half to beat Rabun Gap 52-40 Friday night.<br> <br> The win earns the Lions second place in Region 8-A North behind No. 4 Jefferson.<br> <br> The Lions (16-7, 7-3) trailed 20-17 at halftime but took back the lead in the third quarter behind the shooting of Will Crumley.<br> <br> Crumley finished with a team-high 17 points. Dustin Wellborn added 15 and Ross McIntyre had 8 for Lakeview.<br> <br> But it was the defense in the fourth quarter that was the difference as the Lions held Rabun to just three points as they pulled away for the win.
