Gainesville schedules land plan public meetings

GAINESVILLE - The City of Gainesville plans a series of four public meetings over the next few days to discuss changes to the Unified Land Development Code.

The first of the meetings will be held Thursday.

The city council approved an amendment to the code February 3.

This change involves new requirements when someone submits a zoning, annexation, or variance application.

The meetings will be held in the Development Services Conference Room at the Carol Lunday Center at 430 Prior Street.

The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, February 12, 9:00 a.m.
Friday, February 13, 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Monday, February 15, 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
Friday, February 20, 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
