Winder girls still alive in Region 8-AAAA

ATHENS - The Winder-Barrow girls basketball team is one win from a berth in the Class AAAA state tournament after a 51-46 win over Loganville Tuesday night in Region 8-AAAA action at Cedar Shoals High School.<br>

The Lady Bulldoggs will have to beat No. 7 Cedar Shoals at Cedar Shoals on Thursday to advance.<br>
<br>
The Habersham Central girls fell to Heritage 62-53 at Newton County High School Tuesday night in Region 8-AAAA action.
