GHS takes sixth, Falcons 11th in AAA wrestling

GRIFFIN - The Gainesville High wrestling team finished sixth at Saturday's Class AAA tournament at Spalding High in Griffin.

But Aaron Glover, who was looking to repeat as state champion at the 160-pound class, finished second to rival T.H. Leet of Westminster.

Chestatee's David Williams won the 103-pound state title beating Gainesville's Travis Hendrix in the finals.

Flowery Branch took 11th.
