Lady Vikings roll over North Hall in tennis

RABBITTOWN - The East Hall girls tennis team improved to 2-0 after a 4-1 win over rival North Hall Tuesday.

It was the season opener for the Lady Trojans (0-1).

North Hall 's Emily Randall beat Brittany Smith 8-5 at No. 1 singles to open the match but that would be the Lady Trojans (0-1) only win.

The Lady Vikings' Natalie Wheeler at No. 2 beat Mary-Katherine Pittman 8-6 and Caitlin Chapman at No. 3 beat Carly Franze 8-3.

East Hall's No. 1 doubles team of Megan Magnus and Ashley Carpenter clinched the win beating Rebecca Niedfeldt and Sheena Thomas 8-1.

The team of Heather Poole and Misty Smith beat Courtney Cooper and Lindsey Kitchens 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.
