Slain wife called 911 days before death to report domestic dispute

<p>The husband of a Gwinnett County woman found dead in her home was arrested this morning after a grand jury returned an indictment in another case -- the death of his former girlfriend 14 years ago.</p><p>Barton Corbin -- a Dacula dentist -- was arrested as he left his office this morning.</p><p>His wife, Jennifer Corbin, was found with a single gunshot wound to the head on December fourth. Barton Corbin has been named a primary suspect in her slaying, but he has NOT been charged.</p><p>Richmond County authorities say they reopened the 14-year-old case of Dorothy Hearn once they heard of Barton Corbin's involvement in that case. Hearn had been dating him at the time of her death.</p><p>Authorities say Hearn also was found with a single gunshot wound to the head in July of 1990.</p><p>A Richmond County grand jury returned an indictment this morning in the case. The indictment still is sealed, but Barton Corbin was arrested shortly after it was returned.</p>
