<p>NAHUNTA -- A south Georgia man has been jailed on murder and feticide charges in the shooting death of his pregnant girlfriend.</p><p>Rodney Lee Driggers, 27, of Hoboken in Brantley County, is jailed without bail in the killing of 17-year-old Megan Victoria "Tori" Lake, Brantley County Sheriff Robert Thomas said Wednesday.</p><p>Lake was about six months pregnant. She died after being shot in the neck from close range with a 12-guage shotgun that apparently belonged to Driggers, Thomas said.</p><p>Thomas said Driggers, a self-employed drywall installer, and Lake had been living together. The shooting occurred Tuesday morning while the couple were arguing, the sheriff said.</p><p>Driggers is believed to have been the father of Lake's unborn child.</p><p>Lake's grandmother, Iris Lake, of Nahunta, said her youngest granddaughter was a "pretty" and "loving girl," known for being friendly and outgoing.</p><p>Murder and feticide each carry a life prison term with eligibility for parole, according to Georgia law.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x2867650)</p>
