GAINESVILLE - The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is proposing a traffic flow change along a stretch of Mundy Mill Road in Oakwood which will impact access to two shopping centers.
Spokeswoman Teri Pope says GDOT proposes to install a barrier to prevent motorists from driving across Mundy Mill between Merchants and College Square shopping centers and turning left out of those places.
"We've had a large number of accidents at that intersection."
Billed as a Community Dialouge Session, the meeting will be held Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 at the Gainesville GDOT office on Athens Highway.
