Savannah State loses 11th straight

ORANGEBURG, S.C. - Thurman Zimmerman scored 19 points to lead South Carolina State to a 77-55 victory against Savannah State on Monday night.<br> <br> Savannah&#39;s State has now dropped its eleventh straight game to start the season.<br> <br> Shawn Wiggins added 17, Derrick Davis had 16 and Brian Mason scored 10 for the Bulldogs (7-2).<br> <br> A Wiggins&#39; layup after the break gave South Carolina State a 46-36 lead with 18:00 left to play. The Bulldogs outscored Savannah State 21-4 in the final 7:00 of the game.<br> <br> Leading the Tigers (0-11) were Donald Carson with 24 points and Sherard Reddick who added 16.
