Furman hammers Greensboro

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Robby Bostain and Quan Prowell combined for 48 points to lead Furman to a 110-42 win over Greensboro on Saturday night.<br>

Bostain had 25 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Prowell went 9-of-13 for 23 points as the Paladins (5-4) hit 59 percent of their field goal attempts.<br>

Rodney Blackstock scored 11 to pace The Pride (2-6), which shot just 22 percent from the field.<br>
<br>
Furman jumped out to an 18-4 lead in the first six minutes behind nine points from Prowell. The Paladins led 40-10 after Eric Webb's 3-pointer, 50-19 at halftime, and 82-30 after a 13-0 run capped by Bostain's jumper with 9:53 remaining.<br>

Paladins hit 13-of-29 3-pointers, with Webb making 5-of-8. They outrebounded Greensboro 49-29 with Prowell grabbing a game-high eight.<br>
<br>
The 68-point margin was Furman's largest since a 72-point win (125-53) over Southeastern in 1999.
