Two Cobb County boys charged in racist graffiti incident

<p>Two boys have been charged with spray painting racist graffiti on a black neighbor's house.</p><p>The two boys _ ages 10 and 14 _ spray painted the letters "KKK" along with racial insults on the house, driveway and cars Saturday in west Cobb County, Cobb County police spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud said.</p><p>The house belonged to a black family that was new to the neighborhood.</p><p>The boys, whose names have not been released, were charged Sunday with second-degree criminal damage to property. They have been allowed to remain in their parents' custody, Staud said.</p><p>On Sunday evening, the 14-year-old's father brought him to the house to apologize to the homeowner.</p><p>"They gave their sympathy but no restitution was offered," said Edward Wooten, the owner of the home.</p>
