State football playoffs set to kick off

UNDATED - Georgia High School Assocation football playoffs begin this weekend in dozens of games across the state. <br> <br> Overall, 160 teams will play in the first of the regional playoffs, and most of them meet tonight. There are 16 first-round games in each of five classes. <br> <br> Among the matchups to watch around the state: Defending Class state champion Camden County entertains perennial Class AAAAA powerhouse Colquitt County; Northside-Warner Robins travels to Bainbridge in AAAA; and Mary Persons plays at Shaw in Class AAA.<br> <br> Other local and northeast Georgia games drawing interest include: In AAA, Martin Luther King at Pickens; Gainesville at McNair; Johnson at Westminster; and North hall playing host to Towers. Also, Jefferson at Bremen and Trion at Commerce in Class A; and AAAAA matchups Newnan at Stephenson and South Cobb at Collins Hill.
