GAINESVILLE - Wal-Mart said Friday night it has scheduled another town hall meeting to deal with the controversy surrounding plans for a SuperCenter in North Hall.

It will be the second such meeting in the last few weeks. The first was held in North Hall near the site of the proposed store at Southers Road and Thompson Bridge Road. This one will be held Tuesday at the Georgia Mountains Center in Gainesville.

"We look forward to answering questions and dispelling any rumors
or misinformation with this public forum," said Glen Wilkins, Wal-Mart's
Community Affairs Director.

The meeting will begin with an open house at 6:00 p.m., followed by a general presentation from 7:00-8:00.
