Tech beats Kennesaw St. 80-60 in a college basketball exhabition game

ATLANTA (AP) B.J. Elder scored 16 points and Jarrett Jack added 14 points and nine assists to lead Georgia Tech, last year&#39;s NCAA national runnerup, to an 80-60 victory over Kennesaw State in its first exhibition game on Saturday.<br> <br> The Yellow Jackets outscored the defending Division II national champions 36-13 over the last 13:15 of the first half to take a 51-28 lead.<br> <br> Tech&#39;s biggest lead was 74-43 with 5:56 to play before Kennesaw State rallied with 10 consecutive points.<br> <br> Rey Luque led the Owls with 20 points.<br> <br> Luke Schenscher added 12 ponts for the Yellow Jackets.
