Habersham billboard moratorium OK'd

CLARKESVILLE - The Habersham County Commission has okayed a temporary moratorium on billboards in the county.<br> <br> The commission will not issue any new permits for billboards for up to six months to give it time to adopt an updated sign ordinance.<br> <br> Commissioners want to amend the ordinance to further define requirements for sign development, location, and construction.<br> <br> (WCON in Cornelia contributed to this story.) <br> <br>
