COLLINS HILL - Unbelievable score. Unbelievable victory. Unbelievable feeling.

That was the trifecta for Collins Hill in one of the craziest games Gwinnett County has ever seen.

The Eagles endured seven overtimes, more than 300 passing yards and one final two-point conversion attempt by South Cobb to post a 70-68 win in the first round of the Class AAAAA state playoffs.

``It's all a blur,'' Collins Hill coach Larry Sherrill said. ``I've never seen anything like it.''

It was the first home playoff game in Collins Hills history.

Brandon Jones, who completed 16-of-32 passes for 254 yards and four touchdowns, threw a 15-yard TD pass to Nick Tedder to give Collins Hill a 70-62 lead for the first half of the seventh overtime.

But Michael Brown, who ran for 177 yards on 31 carries, responded with an 11-yard run to set up a two-point conversion attempt. The Collins Hill defense got pressure on Kenny McKinley and his pass was knocked down by Peyton to give the Eagles (10-1) the victory.

Peyton, who had nine catches for 142 yards, scored his only touchdown to tie the game at 28 with 26.6 seconds left in regulation, forcing overtime.

Rock Robinson, who had all four scores in overtime, finished with 212 yards on 41 carries for Collins Hill.

Michael Hann had 11 catches for 267 yards for South Cobb.

Both teams combined for 18 touchdowns and more than 1,000 offensive yards.
