With the emergence of freshmen tailbacks Thomas Brown and Danny Ware this season and the expected return of Kregg Lumpkin from a knee injury next season, Richt already is fielding questions about how to effectively use more than one runner.
``I think we'll just look at the Auburn film and see what they did,'' said Richt, remembering the success of Auburn's Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown, who combined for 260 total yards and each scored a touchdown in the Tigers' 24-6 win over Georgia last week.
Richt said his coaching staff ``had a lot of good ideas going into the season'' that included cross-training such backs as Ware at more than one position. After Lumpkin was injured on the first preseason practice, those plans changed.
``We thought we better just cut out all that extra stuff,'' Richt said.
Richt said he has had more than one top back before in his coaching career, including his years as Florida State's offensive coordinator. ``But not like these three,'' he said. ``These three are pretty good.''
