Miles whips Fort Valley St.

BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA - Taurus Carr and Tisdale Perry each rushed for more than 100 yards as Miles defeated Fort Valley State 21-7 Saturday.<br>

Carr ran for 142 yards and scored a touchdown on a 25-yard run, while Perry ran for 113 yards as the Golden Bears gained 317 yards on the ground.<br>
<br>
Miles (2-3,2-2 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) took a 14-0 halftime lead on a one-yard run by Nicholas Smith and a nine-yard pass from Smith to Frank Adair.<br>
<br>
The only score for Fort Valley State came on a 27-yard field goal by Andrew Jacas.
