GAINESVILLE - Hundreds turned out Saturday under ideal weather conditions
for the annual Gainesville-Hall County Garden Expo.

It was co-sponsored by the Hall County Extension Service Office and Hall
County Master Gardeners and featured vendors, seminars, demonstrations on
bird feeder construction, food and more.

"The idea of the whole thing was to bring together hundreds of plants that
the community could come and buy at one location," according to Arlene
Martin, president of the master gardeners. "And, mostly it's just an
educational experience for the public."

It was held at the Hall County Farmer's Market.
