Valdosta St. rallies past North Alabama

FLORENCE, ALABAMA - Fabian Walker scored on a 1-yard run with 32 seconds left, and Valdosta State took a 24-20 victory over North Alabama.<br>

Valdosta State (7-1, 7-0 Gulf South Conference) trailed 20-17 after DeMarcus Blount scored on a 47-yard run for North Alabama (5-3, 4-3) with 5:04 left in the game.<br>

But the Blazers mounted the game-winning drive that ended on Walker's 1-yard run.<br>
<br>
Earlier in the quarter, Walker threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to give the Blazers a 17-13 advantage. He had 215 offensive yards.<br>
<br>
Blount rushed for 131 yards and Vinnie Saylor had 154 passing yards for North Alabama, which rolled up 299 yards in offense.<br>
<br>
The teams were tied 3-3 at halftime.<br>
<br>
After a scoreless first quarter, North Alabama got on the board with 1:43 left in the half on a 31-yard Beau Tanner field goal. VSU also managed to get on the board before the half on a 30-yard Will Rhody field goal with four seconds left.
