Salem perfect for first time ever

Salem wrapped up the first 10-0 season in school history with a 38-0 victory over winless Eastside.<br> <br> Salem clinched the 8-AAAA championship a week earlier, but there was no letdown.<br> <br> The Seminoles scored four touchdowns in less than four minutes in the middle of the first quarter, all as a result of Eastside mistakes deep in its own end of the field.<br> <br> Salem allowed just 51 points this season, had five shutouts and won each of its last six games by at least 23 points.
