Missing Alabama mans vehicle found buried in Georgia

<p>A pickup truck belonging to an Opelika mobile home salesman missing since 2001 has been found buried in a field near Talbotton, Ga.</p><p>Alkenyatta Al Wilsons green Ford Ranger pickup, located Thursday, had been buried about eight feet deep, Opelika Police Capt. Melvin Harrison said.</p><p>Talbot County, Ga., investigator Andrew Koth said a tip from a jail inmate was relayed to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and led them to the buried vehicle. But there was no sign of Wilson.</p><p>Harrison said Wilson has no known relatives in Talbotton, located about 65 miles east of Opelika.</p><p>Wilson was reported missing by a girlfriend on July 27, 2001 and was last seen leaving his job at Palm Harbor Mobile Home Sales in Opelika. Wilson left the business to show a customer a repossessed trailer, Harrison said.</p><p>Since the recovery of Wilsons vehicle, Koth said Talbot County officers and the GBI continue searching for any additional clues that may locate Wilson, who would be 30 now.</p><p>Police said Wilson is black and about 6-2, weighing about 170 pounds.</p><p>We have red-flagged his driver license, his Social Security card and his car tag, Harrison said. Its like he just fell off the face of the Earth.</p>
