Georgia St. shoots past Florida Atlantic

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA - Nate Williams had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead Georgia State to a 79-76 win over Florida Atlantic on Monday night.<br>

Williams was 6-of-8 shooting from the floor and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. He also blocked two shots for the Panthers (7-4, 2-2 Atlantic Sun).<br>

Georgia State got to the free-throw line 44 times and made 34 of them. That helped overcome another poor shooting night from 3-point range.<br>
<br>
The conference's top 3-point shooting team made just three of 17 attempts from beyond the arc. The Panthers were 5-of-20 on 3-pointers in a 70-60 loss to Central Florida on Saturday.<br>

Trello Galloway added 17 points and eight rebounds for Georgia State.<br>
<br>
Mike Bell led Florida Atlantic (6-5, 3-1) with 20 points and eight rebounds. Jeff Hamilton chipped in 16.
