Mercer whips Gardner-Webb

Gardner Webb (3-10, 0-4) cut the margin to 37-33 on a 3-pointer by Brian Bender before the Bears went on a 9-2 run capped by a layup by Wilson with just over 11 minutes left.<br> <br> Bender led the Bulldogs with 24 points.
