Lady Lions whip Athens Christian

GAINERSVILLE - The Lakeview Academy girls basketball team remained undefeated so far in 2004 after taking a 47-29 win over Athens Christian Saturday night.<br> <br> The Lady Lions (9-4) won their third straight game since returning from the holiday break.<br> <br> lakeview won despite just 6 points from leading scorer Chelsey Chastain.<br> <br> Dianna Briggs poured in a team-high 10 points while Christi Thomas added 8.<br> <br> The Lady Lions opened the game with an 11-2 run and blew the game open in the second quarter with a 17-3 run and a 28-5 halftime lead.
