Out of towners busted for cocaine in Hall County

BUFORD - Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad Agents released details Friday of a drug bust in south Hall County that netted almost $100,000 in Cocaine.

Lt. Mark McGinnis says the arrests happened Thursday after agents put three suspects under surveillance.

"This seizure occurred after an extended surveillance in the Friendship Road area off I-985." McGinnis says.

Arrested were Victor Hugo Lemus, 29, Rigoberto Bucio, 21 and Hernan Cortez Bucio, 20, all of North Carolina.

All three are in the Hall County Jail charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Agents seized 1-kilogram of cocaine with a value of $23,000 in its current form, but worth $98,560 on the street.

MANS agents were assisted by members of the Hall Couty Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division, Patrol Division and the Gang Task Force.
