Merritt Martin dies

GAINESVILLE - Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Merritt Martin, a man long associated with the automobile sales industry in Gainesville. <br> <br> Martin was affiliated with Milton Martin Toyota for 37 years before retiring in 1998. He also served as a deacon and in many other positions at Cool Springs Baptist Church for 50 years. He was a longtime member of the choir at the church and was a bass singer with the former Christians Quartet. <br> <br> Martin died Sunday.<br> <br> The funeral will be at 2:00 Tuesday at Cool Springs Baptist Church.
