The two teams have battled each other in various tournaments several times this season. Dawson is No. 1 in Class AA, followed by Morgan County, which beat the Tigers last year for the state title.
Apalachee is seventh and Lumpkin County eighth in the Class AA poll.
In Class A, Jefferson is No. 1 with rival Commerce 10th.
Meanwhile, the Gainesville wrestling team fell out of the Class AAA rankings for the first time this season.
The Red Elephants had been ranked as high as eighth this year but were not in the top 10 of the latest poll.
Grayson (6th) and Gilmer (7th) are the only teams from Area 3 to be in this week's poll.
