No. 3 Lady Knights whip rival West Hall

OAKWOOD - The Class AAA No. 3-ranked Johnson girls basketball team remained in second place in Region 7-AAA South after a dominating 79-59 win over West Hall Tuesday night.

Brooke Baker poured in 30 points to lead the Lady Knights (16-5, 3-2) to their eighth win in the last 10 games.

Johnson jumped out to an early lead and then held off several West Hall challenges.

Whitney Randolph scored 12 points for Johnson.

West Hall (10-10, 1-5) was led by Paige Hansen, who finished with 20 points.

Johnson plays host to East Hall Friday night. The Lady Vikings upset Johnson two weeks ago. The Lady Vikings, however, have lost 3 of their last 4 since then.
