No. 1 Tigers look for state tourney berth at AA-Area 4 Duals

DAWSONVILLE - The Dawson County wrestling team was one point shy of a Class AA state title last year.<br> <br> The No. 1-ranked Tigers head into Friday&#39;s Area 4 Duals Tournament looking to get back to the state tournament next week and a chance to find that extra point.<br> <br> The Tigers lost to Morgan County last year in the state tournament by one-half point.<br> <br> The Tigers are led by Adam Kimbrell at 112-pounds, Thomas Kimbrell at 119, Chris Dearwent at 125, Chris Lower at 140, Noel Poisson at 152, Andy Myers at at 189 and Donald Roberts at 275.<br> <br> Area 4 consists of teams from Adairsville, Armuchee, Calhoun, Chattooga, Coosa, Dade County, Darlington, Dawson County, Lumpkin County, Model, Rockmart and Walker.<br> <br> The tournament will take place at Lumpkin County and Chattooga.
