Gainesville retired the numbers of Mahagony Hudosn (15) and Stephanie Yarem (20) between games. The pair helped led Gainesville to their first-ever girls championship in 1994, when they beat Crim for the title.
Humphrey, who finished with 27 points, scored 12 of Gainesville's first 18 points. They led 18-2 after the first quarter and the Lady Falcons did not score a basket.
The Lady Red Elephants (19-3, 7-0) opened the lead up to 28-10 midway through the second quarter but Flowery Branch used an 11-3 run in the final three minutes to pull within 31-21 at halftime.
Two Beth Adcock free throws early in the third quarter cut the Gainesville lead to 35-27, but then Gainesville got going again.
The Lady Elephants went on a 30-17 run to take a 65-42 lead, the biggest of the game, with about a minute left.
