Tuesday's softball action

Many area teams kick off their region schedules today in softball action.<br> <br> Most notably is defending Region 7-AAA champ Chestatee, which will play host to Gainesville at 5 p.m.<br> <br> East Hall will travel to Johnson for a 4:30 p.m. Region 7-AAA game while Flowery Branch hits the road in Blue Ridge to play Fannin County in another Region 7-AAA game.<br> <br> North Hall will play host to West Hall at 4:30 p.m. The Spartans advanced to last year&#39;s Class AAA semifinals.<br> <br> North Forsyth (11-0) will play at South Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. in Region 6-AAAA.
