Rome Braves win championship

ROME - Jonathan Schuerholz -- son of Atlanta Braves general manager John Schuerholz -- drove in the winning run with an eighth-inning sacrifice fly as the Class A Rome Braves defeated the Lake County Captains 4-3 and won the South Atlantic League championship in their first year in Rome.<br> <br> The Braves, who moved from Macon, took the best-of-three championship series 3-1.<br> <br> In Lake County, they beat a Cleveland Indians Class A affiliate that until this year also played in Georgia as the Columbus Redstixx.
