Forysth teams alive in Region 6-AAAA

CUMMING - Forsyth Central, fresh off its first win of the season, now faces a tough road test Friday night traveling to St. Pius to take on the Golden Lions in Region 6-AAAA play.<br> <br> The Bulldogs (1-2, 1-1) beat Riverwood last week, 23-6. But the task will be large to beat St. Pius (2-1, 1-1) which knocked off North Springs last week.<br> <br> Ino ther Region 6-AAAA action, North Forsyth (1-2, 1-1) will play at Chamblee. The Raiders were whipped last week by cross-county rival South Forysth 35-7. In its two losses, North Forysth has scored a total of just seven points.<br> <br> Unbeaten South Forysth (3-0, 2-0) will play host to winless Riverwood (0-3, 0-2). The War Eagles are averaging nearly 33 points a game so far while Riverwood is giving up 31 points a game on defense.<br> <br> Other Region 6-AAAA games has Class AAAA No. 2-ranked Marist traveling to rival North Springs and No. 5-ranked Tucker playing host to Dunwoody.
