CHARLESTON, S.C. - Reese McCampbell threw four touchdown passes as South Carolina State routed Savannah State 53-0 on Saturday. <br>

McCampbell, who completed 9 of 17 with one interception for 106 yards, tied a single game record with the touchdown passes of 6, 33, 10 and 29 yards all in the first half for the Bulldogs (2-2, 1-0 Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference). <br>

Chris Belton blocked a Tigers' punt out of the back of the endzone in the first quarter to give the Bulldogs a 19-0 lead. <br>
<br>
South Carolina State added 21 points in the second quarter. <br>
<br>
Joel Taylor capped scoring for the Bulldogs after he recovered a Tiger punt in the endzone following a touch by a Tiger defender. <br>
<br>
Darion Mack, who completed 6 of 22 passes with one interception for 30 yards, led the Tigers (0-4). <br>
<br>
More than 10,000 people crowded into Johnson Hagood Stadium on the campus of The Citadel to watch the inaugural Lowcountry Classic.
