COVINGTON - Winder-Barrow's four-game winning streak came to end Friday night.<br>

The Bulldoggs could muster little offense against Newton in a 26-12 loss.<br>
<br>
Winder (4-1, 4-1 in Region 8-AAAA) had been averaging 30 points a game over the last three games before friday's loss.<br>
<br>
In other Region 8-AAAA action, Cedar Shoals beat Heritage 13-6 in double overtime. Rockdale County got by Eastside 22-14 and Salem kept Jackson County winless with a 21-5 win.
