Baylor player considering Georgia transfer

WACO, TEXAS - Baylor&#39;s reported deal to hire Valparaiso&#39;s Scott Drew as its new men&#39;s basketball coach is drawing praise from Baylor guard John Lucas the third. <br> <br> Lucas says he&#39;s still seriously considering transferring to Georgia or another school after receiving his release from Baylor. But he tells KRIV-TV in Houston that he hasn&#39;t ruled out returning to the Bears. He says he&#39;s narrowed his alternatives to Rice, Rutgers, Georgia, Oklahoma State and Memphis. <br> <br> Lucas&#39; father, former Cleveland Cavalier coach John Lucas, was initially considered a candidate for the Baylor position. But he also praised the reported Drew hiring. He tells KRIV that ``they got a quality coach.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> But Lucas says the chances of his son returning to Baylor are hurt by the defections of some leading teammates to other schools -- including Baylor&#39;s leading scorer, Lawrence Roberts.
