Gainesville-Hall building inspections department updating software

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville/Hall County Building Inspections department will not be issuing permits Tuesday and Wednesday because of a computer software update.

The office will be open for business those two days but will not be able to issue permit applications or "change of use" occupancy inspections.

However, Certificates of Occupancy will be issued manually during this time.

Normal business operations are scheduled to resume Thursday.
