Hart County finished third, but one of its golfers, Anna Rogers, won the individual title with a 75. Molly Childers of Gainesville came in second place.
In Class AAAA boys action, Major Manning of Habersham Central won the individual title shooting a 71.
Northview High School won the state Class AAAAA boys golf championship on its first try Monday, beating Glynn Academy by seven strokes with a total of 583.
Junior Knox Martin led the Titans with a 6-under-par 138 for medalist honors. Etowah's Chris Kirk, a University of Georgia signee, was runnerup with a 3-under 141 over 36 holes.
The team score by Northview, a new school in suburban Atlanta, is the second-best on record in the tournament for the state's top classification. Glynn Academy won the 2000 championship with a record 580.
In the AAAAA girls tournament, Oconee County claimed the title with a 150 in its first appearance at the highest classification level. The Lady Warriors got a pair of 75s from Vicki Yi and Katy Rogers to win by a stroke over Harrison. Newnan's Jean Reynolds won her second consecutive state individual title, shooting a 2-under 70.
Marist beat Woodward Academy on the first extra hole of the boys Class AAAA tournament after the two teams tied at 309. Brett Lange led Marist with a 73.
Grace Kim of Columbus shot a 78 to win her second state championship in a row and help Columbus to the girls' AAAA title. Kim, a Furman signee, edged sister Patricia Kim by one shot.
Richmond Academy's Mike Green shot a 4-under-par 68 for the individual title while leading his team to a four-shot triumph in the Class AAA boys championship.
The Musketeers shot a total of 302, beating five-time defending state champion Savannah Christian, which finished at 306 in the 18-hole tournament.
In boys' Class AA, Vidalia won its first team title since 1999 - and the fifth in the past 10 years - with a total of 310. The Indians had three golfers among the top 10, led by Daniel Rice's 2-over 74 that tied for second, and finished three shots ahead of Greater Atlanta Christian (313). Pace Academy's Alex Gaddy was medalist with a 1-under 71.
Blessed Trinity's girls won their AA tournament with a total of 166, just one shot ahead of Darlington and Pace Academy. Darlington survived a three-hole playoff with Pace for second place. Medalist honors went to Ashley Medders of Bacon County, who fired a 3-over 75 to place first a year after taking second.
For the second consecutive year, Athens Academy, Savannah Country Day and Calvary Baptist finished first, second and third at Class A tournament - with scores of 305, 316 and 322. Keith Guest of Athens Academy shot a tournament-low 73 to lead the Spartans.
The Ware County Magnet School won the Class A girls title for the second straight year. The Lady Eagles posted a 170, 24 points better than second place Gordon Lee at 194. Ware Magnet's Alex Brown, a Mercer University signee, carded an individual a 5-over 77, to repeat her individual tournament title.
