Next vote on new Barrow County jail May 22

WINDER - The Barrow County commission has postponed its vote on a new jail until next Thursday, May 22.<br>

Commissioners tabled the proposal at their meeting Tuesday night.<br>
<br>
Five-hundred homeowners who live in subdivisions around the proposed 155-acre site say a new jail isn't needed, but Barrow County officials say the current detention center is overcrowded.
