Southern Conference baseball tournament continues

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA - Georgia Southern faces the College of Charleston Thursday night in the second round of the Southern Conference baseball tournament.<br> <br> Grant Burrus hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday to give the Eagles a 6-4 victory over VMI.<br> <br> Kevin Culpepper (3-0) got the win by pitching a scoreless ninth in relief of Eagles starter Dennis Love, who struck out eight in eight innings.<br> <br> The College of Charleston beat The Citadel 8-2.
