Braves rename cheap seats for consumer advocate Clark Howard

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves have decided to name their cheapest seats after the town's most famous tightwad.

The two sections at Turner Field, where 186 seats regularly cost only $1, will be named the Clark Howard Skyline Seats after the consumer advocate and nationally syndicated radio call-in show.

Howard works for WSB-AM in Atlanta and also appears on WSB-TV.

The $1 skyline seats are available on game days only at the ticket window.

The newly renamed seats will be unveiled June 6 when the Braves take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. On that night, the Braves will also sell four thousand upper deck seats -- which normally cost $5 for only one dollar.

Tickets for the Pirates game can be purchased in advance or on game day.
