TULSA, OKLAHOMA - Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn will receive the 2003 Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Award for his work helping single mothers buy homes. <br>

The Rotary Club of Tulsa, Oklahoma, which presents the award annually to a male and female athlete who excel on the field and help others in their personal lives, made the announcement Wednesday. <br>

Dunn will join golfer Nancy Lopez, whose honor was previously announced, in receiving the award June 23 at a banquet at Tulsa's Renaissance Hotel. Lopez lives in Albany, Georgia. <br>
<br>
Through his Homes for the Holidays program, Dunn has helped about 40 single mothers with about 100 children buy their own homes. He makes down payments to lower mortgages and often furnishes the homes. <br>
<br>
Lopez, who golfed at the University of Tulsa and has won 48 LPGA events, is being honored for her work with AIM for the Handicapped. Lopez has staged benefit tournaments for 22 years for the group, which uses music and exercise to help the handicapped develop. <br>
<br>
Kansas basketball coach Roy Williams will give the keynote speech. Former Oklahoma and NFL running back Spencer Tillman will be master of ceremonies. <br>
<br>
The awards, now entering their 10th year, are named after the late Oklahoma State basketball coach.
