Georgia State plays Jacksonville State

ORLANDO, FLORIDA - Georgia State will play Jacksonville State Friday evening in semifinals of the Atlantic Sun conference women's basketball tournament in Orlando, Florida.<br>

Evita Rogers scored 16 of her 21 points in the second half to lead Georgia State to a 63-50 victory over Mercer Thursday in the first round. Jacksonville State was a 65-55 opening-round winner over Florida Atlantic.<br>

In the first half against Mercer, Georgia State never led by more than seven points. Then, the Lady Panthers began to dominate. Rogers scored six straight points to increase her team's lead to 41-28. The closest Mercer got the rest of the way was five. April Dyer and Jessica Miller each scored 13 for Mercer.
