Loganville woman allegedly harassed by NASCAR driver's wife

LOGANVILLE - Diane Bodine, wife of NASCAR driver Brett Bodine, has been charged with making terroristic threats and harassing phone calls to a Loganville woman her husband met through Hooters of America Incorporated, which sponsors his race car. <br>

The 43-year-old turned herself in to Walton County authorities Tuesday. Her lawyer says she denies all charges. The name of the Loganville woman she is accused of harassing is being withheld. <br>
<br>
Bodine was released on a $6,500 bond. <br>
<br>
Jeff Johnson, public information officer with the Walton County Sheriff's Department, says terroristic threats and acts is a felony that is punishable by up to five years. <br>
<br>
The case is being handed over to the District Attorney's office, according to Johnson. Bodine had allegedly been making the phone calls since last July. <br>
<br>
She was arrested in Florida on January 16 and agreed to appear in Monroe with her attorney to avoid extradition. <br>
<br>
Diane Bodine says that since she owns Brett Bodine's race car - she will be heading to Daytona for the upcoming race.
