Miss. State will keep Georgian Turner on team

STARKVILLE, MISSISSIPPI - Mississippi State coach Jackie Sherill said running back and Atlanta native Nick Turner will remain on the football team despite his legal problems. <br>

Turner faces trial April 30th on charges of possessing counterfeit money. <br>
<br>
Sherrill told a Mississippi newspaper that Turner's lawyer believes everything will work out. <br>
<br>
Turner is accused of passing several phony $100 bills at a Starkville nightspot October 15th. <br>
<br>
Sherrill suspended Turner October 22nd, ending his freshman season.
