Georgia Army reserve units called to active duty

Five Army reserve units in Georgia were called up for active duty Monday. <br>
<br>
The 90 members of the 314th Chemical Company from Carrollton will report to Fort Bragg in North Carolina. They provide nuclear, biological and chemical equipment decontamination. <br>
<br>
Four other units received orders to report to Fort Stewart. <br>
<br>
One hundred members of the Army Reserve's 1014th Quartermaster Company from Athens operates a supply facility. <br>
<br>
And 50 members of the 341st Adjutant General Company -- also from Athens --provide postal services. <br>
<br>
Two units from Decatur include 130 members of the 461st Adjutant General Battalion -- who manage personnel information -- and ten soldiers from the 388th Transportation Detachment -- who provide cargo documentation support in rail, water and air terminals.
