ATLANTA - Crowds in Atlanta for the NBA's All-Star events created massive traffic and litter all over downtown and surrounding communities this weekend.
Former Atlanta Mayor Sam Massell -- now head of a group of business people known as the Buckhead coalition -- says the city needs a better plan to protect the entertainment and shopping district in north Atlanta.
Massell says sponsors of future events should be bound by a contract to clean up neighborhoods affected by the partying.
Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport is seeing the crowds flood its terminal Monday. Airport officials are advising travelers to arrive to the airports two hours before their flights.
