36-unit condo complex planned

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Planning & Appeals Board will be asked next month to okay a "special use" for four acres on the north side of town were a 36-unit condominium complex is planned.

The site is on Old Thompson Bridge Road at Thompson Bridge Road.

The board is also scheduled to consider an annexation request for a tract on Memorial Park Road at Titshaw Road where a new city fire station is planned and property on New Bridge Road near Cleveland Highway.

That's were the Atlanta Botanical Garden plans a 168-acre arboretum, a scientific and educational plant cultivation facility.

In addition, the board will be asked to approve a "special use" for townhomes on a 20-acre site near the intersection of Flintridge Road and Limestone Parkway.

All three requests are scheduled to be considered by the city planning and appeals board March 11.
